OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS

THE FRIENDSHIP CENTER

For those who visit our corner of Ravenswood during Mayfestiversary and Octoberfestivesary—our street fest we put on in spring and fall with our friends at Begyle Brewing—the suggested $5 suggested donation will benefit The Friendship Center, our local food pantry that’s been providing groceries and more for our Northside neighbors facing hunger for more than 50 years.

Since partnering with The Friendship Center in 2018, our events’ gate donations have provided the equivalent of more than 3 million meals to neighbors in need.

CHICAGO CANINE RESCUE

Our 2024 non-profit taproom partner was Chicago Canine Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city.

We’ve partnered up with them for puppy speed dating and puppy yoga events at the brewery to support their cause—check the calendar around the holidays, when they pop-up at our Holiday Market for pup photos with Santa Claus.

GROWING HOME

From 2021-2023, Growing Home was our non-profit taproom partner. Growing Home is an Englewood-based, non-profit organic farming social enterprise that provides employment training and organic produce to communities throughout Chicago.

While they may not be our main community partner this year, we still plan to support Growing Home through donations and events.

DONATION REQUESTS

We’re always happy to have an opportunity to support our community and the good work organizations do around Chicago. To ensure we can support requests fairly and sustainably, we’ve outlined our donation policy here:

What We Donate

We offer a limited number of donations each quarter in the form of:

  • Beer donations
(kegs, sixtels, or packaged beer for permitted events)

  • Swag packs for silent auctions or raffles
(gift cards, glassware, or branded merchandise)

How Our Donation Program Works

  • Donations are evaluated quarterly and subject to availability

  • Each organization may request one donation per quarter

  • All requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance

  • Donations are limited in quantity and value to ensure broad community support

Once our quarterly donation capacity is reached, additional requests will be deferred to the next quarter.

Priority Consideration

While we can’t accommodate every request, priority is given to:

  • Neighborhood and community organizations

  • Nonprofits and charitable causes

  • Events with clear community impact or public benefit

  • Partners whose values align with ours

We are unable to support:

  • Private parties, like block parties, or personal events

  • Events without appropriate permits for alcohol

  • Requests submitted after the deadline

How to Request a Donation

To be considered, please submit a donation request using our form:
