ABOUT THE DOVETAIL HOLIDAY MARKET

Join Dovetail Brewery for four weekends of beer, food, gifts, Glühkriek and more! Nearly 80 different local artists and makers, as well as other fun stuff like live holiday music, hot beer poking, and maybe even a visit from Santa!

NEW THIS YEAR: Hanukkah market w/ Mahjong society

Hanukkah falls a little earlier this year, so we’re having a mini-market on Wednesday, December 2 from 5-9pm, while the Mahjong Society hosts an open play in our barrel loft. If you’re a maker with a focus on Hanukkah gifts, we encourage you to apply! Vendor fee for this market is $50 and is limited to 5 vendors, so there’s plenty of room for Mahjong play!

VENDOR APPLICATIONS

Vendor Fees 
$200 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Vendor must commit to all days and hours of the market (i.e. you’re applying for Friday through Sunday, not just one day of the weekend! Also, you’re welcome to apply for more than one weekend. Booth shares are also okay!)

Once your application is accepted, we’ll invoice you for the $200—The vendor fee must be paid by Friday, November 13 or you risk losing your booth space.

What we’ll provide: 

  • 7-Foot Biergarten Table and folding chair (you can also bring your own tables or displays — just let us know to make sure it fits in the space!)

  • Dedicated staff to support you while you vend

  • Electricity (please give us a heads up if needed, so we can situate you next to an outlet)

  • Marketing (Dovetail social media, newsletter, posters, banners, online advertising, PR outreach, and sponsorship of the GRCC’s Small Business Saturday holiday trolley)

  • Two Dovetail beers per day (or your choice of non-alcoholic beverage)

Vendor Criteria
We are proud to support independent and diverse artists, makers, and small businesses—especially those local to the neighborhoods around our brewery. While all applications will be considered, preference will be given to vendors who are local to Chicagoland and create original, handmade, or thoughtfully designed products. Once spots are filled, we will start a waiting list.

Please note:

  • We will not accept vendors who rely on AI-generated art or products.

Each weekend features 20-ish vendors (more if there are booth buddies!)

Other things
Each weekend, we’ll feature a food pop-up and beer special, as well as of our special mulled beer, Glühkriek, as well as other special programming like choral performances, Santa visits, hot beer poking, and more. Our aim is to make our corner of Ravenswood a fun and merry spot during the holiday season—Our holiday markets in the past have been big successes for our vendors, and we want it to be for you, too!

Load in 
Starting at noon on the Friday of market weekend. A freight elevator is available for load-in.

Parking
There is usually ample street parking on Ravenswood after 4pm on Friday. We can also direct you to a load-in door.

Load out
Load out will be between 6-8pm on Sunday evening of your weekend.

In the event of cancellation
If you cancel before or on the cancellation deadline of FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, we will return your vendor fee. If you cancel your participation after the cancellation deadline, we can not offer a refund.
