On Friday, October 10, we're having an Oktoberfestiversary pre-party, where we'll tap a gravity keg of our Festbier to kick things off! This isn't just any gravity keg tapping, however —we got our hands on 200L pitch-lined gravity keg made by the same Munich coopers that make the barrels for the Munich Oktoberfest. Also joining us will be Beard & Belly on da grill and Tuba Force on the brass.

TO GET A POUR from this special gravity keg tapping, you'll need a sweet stein, which you'll be able to use all Oktoberfestiversary weekend.

Join us in welcoming Snackie Chan to the taproom for the first time! This vegan pop-up will be serving tofu katsu over rice with cabbage and teriyaki sauce and miso caramel Rice Krispies! Ash is donating all her tips and proceeds of Jackie Chan’s sales to Street Vendors Association of Chicago. Taking Ash’s lead, Dovetail will donate $1 of each beer poured during the pop-up as well.

A Chicago-based magician and “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” alum, Brielle is helping revive tavern magic, a close-up style born right here in Chicago, with performances at spots like Beard & Belly and Long Room.
