Our longtime pal and pizza wiz Bad Johnny is rolling up to the taproom with his wood-fired oven for a special collaboration: Flammkuchen!
What the heck is Flammkuchen? It’s a thin, crispy flatbread from the Alsace region, traditionally topped with crème fraîche, onions, and bacon. Delicious, right? For this collab, we’re giving it a Dovetail twist—the dough is made using Hagen’s sourdough starter, fermented with Dovetail’s own spontaneously-fermented beer. We’ll also be pouring some Flammkuchen-friendly beer specials!
